Join us for a trip on the Wensleydale Railway
(Steam hauled on return) from Leeming Bar to Leyburn. We will walk via
Leyburn Shawl to Redmire, returning on the rights of way to the south of the
railway. This is Beer Festival Weekend and it is expected that there will be

Saturday 4th September 2010 Summer BBQ at the Sun Inn Pickering meet 12.00 noon Keld Head
Join us for a 10 mile moderate walk from Pickering led by Geoff, to explore the Roman Cawthorne Camp. We meet at the junction of Westgate Carr Road and Westgate in Pickering (near Keld Held) returning to the Sun Inn on Westgate around 5.00pm for a sumptuous Barbeque organised by Martin & Penny. Our AGM is on 25th October in the Beckett Room at Pickering Memorial Hall at 7.30pm. Join in to elect your committee - there are vacancies for willing helpers. After the main business Alpine Arena of Newton on Ouse will give us an audio-visual presentation on walking in the Austrian Alps. Christmas Dinner Walk 12th December 2010 After the success of last years Xmas Dinner at The Buck Inn Wrelton we return there in 2010. The walk this year is based around Hutton-le- Hole and Dowthwaite Dale. This will be a 7 mile moderate walk - meet at Pickering Pool for car share at 9.00am. The meal cost is £15 and you may print off a booking form here. Advance booking is ESSENTIAL.
