Stage One - 19th April - Ripon to South Stainley (10.5 Miles & 770 feet ascent)

     Our group at Ripon cathedral - we   resisted the coffee stop having just started out. A narrowboat leaves the Ripon Boat Club marina on the Ripon Canal. Boat movements at Oxclose lock on the Ripon Canal. This lock lowers boats to the River Ure and links the Ripon Canal to the UK river and canal network.
